Son of Stitch 'n Bitch has finally been released. And look, there's my Ernie sweater pattern...

I went to the book store today and headed straight for the craft section, of course. And low and behold, there was the book, sitting on the shelf. I had to call my mom immediately (we ended up talking forever which we always do.)

It was surreal opening the book and seeing the sweater I had knitted in one month (I knit the back in one weekend) with my name at the top of the page.

If any of you out there are planning on knitting this, please let me know. I'd love to see your finished sweater. If you are afraid of the color, pick four other colors that are less, um, Muppet-y. I was thinking, as I was furiously knitting this sweater, that it would be great in shades of one color-maybe tans and browns. The Karabella Aurora 8 comes in a ton of colors.

I hope all of you like the pattern. I think the sweater itself is hilarious, something we can all can recall from our childhoods. Making it adult-sized is fantastic. Happy knitting!

CAT'S OUT

So, guess who has a pattern in the up-coming Stitch 'n Bitch book? Yep, that's right... your mom. Haha. It's me, of course.

I really want to, but I can't tell you much about it. Last November, I was asked to be a part of the book. So I designed a project, knitted it in one month and sent it off to New York City.

Besides being excited that it's my first published pattern, I am also thrilled to be part of the Stitch 'n Bitch series. I was really nervous about knitting the project in one month, but I made it happen because it was such a great opportunity. Can't wait to see the finished book!
