I am intrigued by acid washed denim lately. In fact, earlier today, I almost bought an acid washed denim jacket at a thrift store.
I can remember acid wash the first time around... circa 1986.
What do you all think... yes or no?
i think a mix of modern and acid wash would be totally cool. i've been thinking of getting a pair, to be honest. maybe i should just go for it!

i say yes.
i've been a big fan of it the second time around. it can totally work if done right...and with the right acid wash (it's not all good).
i've been rocking it for years now, well before it made this massive comeback in recent years. i know it's been done badly, and it's such an 80s cliche, but there's something very interesting about it, and really, it's just a treatment done to a textile, which can have some interesting textural results.
also: they are only bad, imo, if you rock them in a cliche, 80s way. what's cooler is to wear them with modern things, unexpected things from today. kind of a mash-up.

Was just discussing acid washed jeans the other day. I had a pair that I completely shredded. Worn over a pair of spandex shorts, and perfect when paired with my Guns-n-Roses t shirt. Sometimes I wish I still had those jeans...
