bench monday, 25 may

I was setting up my Bench Monday photo, stepping on to the stool, and this happened:

I fell off. Thank goodness I didn't hurt myself, other than a bruised ego.

Instead of just submitting a photo, I decided to get all typographic with it and spent some time retelling my story through type so the Bench Monday gang would know why I wasn't standing on a bench, etc.

yeah, it does sorta looke like a book cover. i just had fun with the type and didn't think too much about the design. it was sort of a type exercise, i guess.

I'm glad you are o.k. but I have to tell you this is a fabulous pic/shot/graphic...I totally agree with above about the book thing...I'm thinking something Augusten Burroughs....

At first glance I thought this image was a cover to a book that I would definitely want to pick up and flip through the pages.
