A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted a striped hat. I knew I would need to knit it in stockinette stitch so I didn't get those weird bars that you see when you use two colors with ribbing. I found some left-over yarn, cast on, and made it up as I went:
This is the first stockinette hat I've knitted. I think I decreased too fast and I think it's a bit short. Oh well, I still like it.
Looks great! Doesn't look too short, I like the colors too.

Hey Drew.... You should check out brooklyntweed's Turn-A-Square hat pattern. Very easy, nice decreases and makes up quick. It looks a lot like the one on your head. Hope all is well....Dustin
