I've always loved the British shop, Paperchase. If you are ever in London, stop by their flagship store on Tottenham Court Road. If a holiday in London isn't in your immediate plans, then Border's Books carries a fraction of all the cool Paperchase products.

I really like these Paperchase bags. They're a bit too feminine for me, but they'd make good gifts and are fun to look at!

Don't you just love the bright, saturated colors and complex, layered imagery? I also like that the notes celebrate Swiss citizens that contributed to architecture, science and music (as opposed to just politicians.)
Each note is a different size and includes raised symbols so the seeing impaired can easily tell them apart (circle, square and triangle on the left sides above.) Oh, and the designer's name is printed on the notes as well. I can't imagine that ever happening with US money, let alone allowing only one person to design them.
These make US currency look like green barf.

I want to sell all my current furniture and buy all of this! There's only one problem... most of it's only available in Sweden. Oh well.
A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted a striped hat. I knew I would need to knit it in stockinette stitch so I didn't get those weird bars that you see when you use two colors with ribbing. I found some left-over yarn, cast on, and made it up as I went:

This is the first stockinette hat I've knitted. I think I decreased too fast and I think it's a bit short. Oh well, I still like it.
