YARD SALE
A long time thrifter, I'd never been to the World's Longest Yard Sale, which passes through Cincinnati. I've never really been in to garage and yard sales. They are sort of hit or miss. Actually, they are more miss than hit, in my experience.
However, since it was such a nice day, Blake and I decided to head out to check it out. Fueled by large lattes, we had a good time. My attention span didn't last that long, however, and after about two hours we left. (Unlike some other people that are turning it into a huge multiple day event.)
I did find some cool stuff for my Etsy shop...
I LOVE the two ornate yellow plates:) Are they a part of the yard sale finds?
For me, yard-sales turn out to be a waste 90% of the time. Wish I came across plates like that... I guess you have to live in Cincinnati:)

I've dreamed of renting a camper and doing the whole thing, or some long portion of it. But I do think it would probably be too much. Even the best rummage sale kind of gets to me after about a half hour, like sensory overload, too much to process even if the stuff is great. Maybe it's just age catching up with me! That little dog is sweet!

Hit or miss...maybe, but when you do hit it can be such a hoot! Love the little blue dog.
