I'm having loads of fun taking photos for my Etsy shop. I've learned that I need to be in the mood, though. I can't force it. If I do, I usually end up with something less than inspiring. Today, though, was not one of those days. The ideas seemed to flow very easily. I'm learning how to pick better props and even when to not have props. Now only if marketing my shop were this easy...
You certainly have a good eye, for choosing merchandise and for styling it creatively. And yes, sometimes it's as much about the spaces that are left unfilled. Previous work in galleries taught me that.
