My friend Jay needed my new car to deliver some furniture he was donating to charity. Once we were finished unloading, we shopped a bit and I found some really great stuff...

I love how mod they are | click to enlarge
I have no idea what these mod little wooden dolls are, but they are really cool. Their heads come off like little eggs. On the bottom of the male doll there is a sticker that reads, "Beriozka." The other one has a sticker on the bottom that's in Russian. It reads, "MOCKBA" which of course is Moscow. Whatever they are, they're just really frickin' cool.
I also found some amazing mugs...

These are the sorts of things that you hope one day you'll find. And when you do, you thank the thrifting gods and pray your thrifting karma will stay with you.
I would like to propose not to hold back until you earn enough money to buy goods! You can get the mortgage loans or just sba loan and feel yourself comfortable

Great finds! I love going to thrift shops, even if it's just to look.
MOCKBA is Russian for Moscow; that's where these little figurines are from. The name is in written in Cyrillic. 'Beriozka', also in Russian, is the diminutive form of birch tree (birches are literally synonymous with Russia). Probably the name of the company that manufactured these. More than you ever wanted to know, eh? They're adorable, and that's all that matters.

I call mugs like that "cottage mugs" because you'll find a lot of them have been moved from people's homes to their cottages after becoming less fashionable. Great find!

I think the dolls are what they use to eat soft/hard boiled eggs out of back in like the 50's.
