Son of Stitch 'n Bitch has finally been released. And look, there's my Ernie sweater pattern...

I went to the book store today and headed straight for the craft section, of course. And low and behold, there was the book, sitting on the shelf. I had to call my mom immediately (we ended up talking forever which we always do.)
It was surreal opening the book and seeing the sweater I had knitted in one month (I knit the back in one weekend) with my name at the top of the page.

If any of you out there are planning on knitting this, please let me know. I'd love to see your finished sweater. If you are afraid of the color, pick four other colors that are less, um, Muppet-y. I was thinking, as I was furiously knitting this sweater, that it would be great in shades of one color-maybe tans and browns. The Karabella Aurora 8 comes in a ton of colors.
I hope all of you like the pattern. I think the sweater itself is hilarious, something we can all can recall from our childhoods. Making it adult-sized is fantastic. Happy knitting!
Hello Drew,
First of all congrats, even though I do not know you =P
I'd just like to ask how to get the details to do this pattern.
As you can see from the picture link below... I am a HUGE Ernie fan!!!
Regards,
Tineca

Yes, I would like to second the comment about the Bert sweater. Is there one? Is there a way to commision you to make one if there isn't one already? My friend and I are in need of yet one more nail for our Bert and Ernie coffin.

Actually, I love this pattern and am looking for way way to translate it to crochet as I don't actually knit.
My friend, an art professor, has promised to wear it to class every day for a full semester if I make it for him.

Hey Drew! I read your blog all the time, though I rarely comment, and when I saw this pattern, I immediately thought of the things you have showcased on your blog, mainly that black and white raglan. Imagine my surprise when I saw your name and I thought, OMG I actually recognize this guy! Kudos to getting and published, btw, and keep up the awesomerific work!
