The little kid portrait scares me. And if you're thinking that's a ship painted on black velvet, you're thinking correctly.

Oh my god...I think that little kid picture could fit right in with a set that my mom had. I think they were given away with toilet paper or something. She had a set with four children in outfits reflecting the four seasons. (I rather coveted the winter girl's white fur hat and muff.) They are definitely all the same artist. (We never framed ours...they were just stuck away in a print box for ages....someone might have given them to her, because they really weren't her style.)

I'd be a little afraid that child is going to come out of the painting at night in search of blood.
