BURGER CHEF

I have this vague memory of the restaurant chain called Burger Chef. It eventually came to be known as Hardee's, and, well, who goes there?

Anyway, I came across the blog A Sampler of Things, which led me to The Imaginary World, which led me to these cool Burger Chef premium items from the 1970s...

I think it's really weird that fast food restaurants pander to kids, especially when Americans are so fat. But, of all the old fast food premium items that were on the site, Burger Chef's were the coolest and had the most style.

I'M STILL HERE!

It's been too long since my last post. Between going to L.A. to visit my dear friend Celeste, going to Orlando last weekend for a conference, working and teaching, I've had very little time to myself.

I did have time to finish the crocheted scarf...
