I was feeling creative today, so I grabbed some of my thrifted bedsheets, used Super Eggplant's "tote bag 101" tutorial and made this...

This was my first attempt at a tote bag. I am happy with the way it turned out. The lining scared me but turned out to be easy.

I think I will make a few more, maybe to use as grocery tote bags.
I received my first loan when I was 20 and that helped me a lot. But, I require the short term loan once again.

They look great Drew. Very cool vintage fabric, just screams Spring and Summer to me. I've made some totes, they're cool as gifts too.

Great fabric choices! That is such a cute bag! I love sewing tote bags. It's easy to get addicted to. I'm sure you will be churning out tons before you know it.
