I had to have a tutor to get through high school algebra. My brain doesn't work that way. I am obviously a visual person. So, it's not a surprise that this is how I keep track of my knitting...

I make a column for knit and a column for purl, then write the number of each row. When I complete that row I cross it off. Any number that is circled is a decrease or increase. These little pieces of paper are all over my apartment which can be annoying. At least I don't have to hire a tutor anymore.
Holy cow! I do almost the exact same procedure. Except mine must be done on graph paper. I love taking apart a pattern and jotting it down 'my way'. There is something so methodical about crossing off the finished rows. Cheers!

We all have our systems.... I use a notebook for all of my notes on patterns. It works well for me.... I do have to admit that this notebook has turned into notebooks though!

I can get you setup with a spreadsheet for all of this if you want. See you next week!
