I'm back from Paris. Four days of snow-covered frenzied touristy craziness highlighted with a trip to Agnés B. with my mother and her credit card!

The trip went very well. Travelling with my mother was a lot of fun and very easy. She was a great travel companion.

my mother getting really close to Monet | there was other cool art, too
I have been to Paris before, but my mother had not. We did all the typical things one does in Paris when visiting for the first time... like Montmartre, St. Chapelle and Jardin des Tuilleries.

I even introduced her to salade chévre chaud (hot goat cheese) and she loved it so much we ate it for our last three meals. We also stopped at the local crépe stand three times... mmmmmm citron et sucre.
We did go to La Droguerie, but I didn't buy anything. And we didn't go to a yarn shop because there was so much other things on our list. We figured there was nothing we were missing.

hmmm, imagine that... it was right next to Agnés B.
I did do some knitting. I almost finished crocheting a scarf on the plane, made using a large hook and the Gedifra yarn I bought in May in San Francisco. And I worked on a hat for a friend using Bernat Cotton Sox held double.
Hopefully, photos of me modelling Raspy will be up early next week. Stay tuned...
