Started on the sleeves for Raspy... Knitting both at the same time...

Also, I am working on the collar for Moll. Thinking of starting over...

I finished the front of Moll this afternoon and have both pieces blocking...

The front went very quickly compared to the back. I think this is going to look really great on my friend Gigi. Photos of the finished project coming...

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST

I finished the alpaca scarf just in time for the August heat...

I really need to shave

I have decided to keep it for myself, since I look oh-so-good wearing it. OK, just kidding. But, I ain't givin' this one way. It's a tad short, which makes me think that I should have gone up one or two needles sizes to get some more length out of the skein of Blue Sky Alpaca yarn. But, Oh well. It's still nice.

I'M KNITTING A SCARF WHILE IT'S 96 DEGREES OUTSIDE

I have been pretty busy lately, so I wanted to take a break from Moll and start a project that I could pick up quickly and mindlessly knit. When I was in San Francisco, I bought a skein of Blue Sky Alpacas bulky at Urban Knitting Studio. Alpaca makes a great scarf, so I cast on and started knitting.

I found the mod fabric at a thrift store

It's fairly straight forward knitting. Just your basic 2x2 rib with an i-cord edging. I don't know who I am going to give it to... perhaps I will keep it for myself...
